My name is Tamarah Webb, and I reside in Atlanta, Georgia, where I serve the downtown community as a law enforcement officer.

Growing up as a military dependent allowed me to live and travel internationally, an experience that profoundly shaped my perspective on people, cultures, and communities. I spent 19 years living among diverse populations in South Korea, Hawaii, and the Philippines. These experiences taught me the importance of understanding different cultures, including the foods people enjoy, the languages spoken in their homes, and the traditions that shape their everyday lives. I believe exposure to diverse perspectives encourages greater empathy, open-mindedness, and appreciation for the many ways humanity exists around the world.

I attended Columbia College Chicago, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Cultural Studies. My academic background, combined with my international upbringing and professional experience in law enforcement, has strengthened my ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, professional, and accessible way.

I am passionate about connecting with people from different backgrounds and helping others better understand the world around them. My experiences have taught me that effective communication begins with listening, understanding, and recognizing the shared humanity that connects us all.
